Shower blocks for touring now open!
If you’re looking for somewhere, well maintained with great countryside views in a coastal location, then you won’t find a better campsite or touring park in Dorset than Newlands.
Facilities on hand include modern clean toilets, showers, laundry and baby changing facilities – with under floor heating, high quality fixtures and fittings including sockets for your hair dryer or styler.
Onsite we have four types of pitches to choose from for a caravan or motorhome: Grass pitch with 10 amp electric hook up, Hard standing with 16 amps, Premium hardstanding pitches with 16 amp electric, mains water and drainage for grey waste and our hardstanding pitches with grass for the awning and a 16amp hook-up. Please note; only breathable ground sheets are permitted for awnings.
Pitches are terraced, overlooking the valley near Lyme Regis.
You'll marvel at our lovely landscaped park whilst taking in views of the scenic surrounding countryside.
For camping there are 2 non-electric fields, the blue and yellow fields. The black field has a 10amp hook up.
The blue is located at the top of the park, and has unmarked areas so you can choose your own spot wherever you like! Please note; in high season we restrict the maximum tent size to 4.5 x 7 metres. This field has four larger pitches with electric hook up for tents to a maximum size of 6Mx10M. It also shares a field with the Glamping Pods which you can read about below.
The yellow is at the front of the Park, opposite the complex building where the pitches are numbered, similar to the black field which is behind the complex building and lodges. There are some pitches for non-electric large tents here too.
We cannot reserve specific pitch numbers, our wardens pitch you on arrival. However, we can make a special note on your booking if you prefer to be near toilets or with friends, but requests cannot be guaranteed.
Charcoal BBQ'S are allowed if raised off the ground. Please note we do not allow open fires or Pit fires.
Gazebos, sun shades, event tents, loo tents or similar are not permitted during high season.
A pitch is one unit and one car.
There are minimum night stays during peak season however there are also odd gaps available so it is always worth call us if what we have showing on here is not available. 5 nights on the premium pitches, 4 nights on the hard standing and 3 nights in the pods or other touring/camping areas. We maybe able to offer less than these minimum if there are gaps, however you will need to email or call us on 01297 560259 to arrange this.
