The Bar and Restaurant

The Tow Bar and Restaurant in Charmouth offers a wide selection of homecooked meals and drinks, including West Country Ales, wines, spirits, soft drinks, barista coffee and teas! If you fancy an extra special tipple to celebrate your holiday in Charmouth, we highly recommend that you try some of our specialist spirits, such as the locally brewed Dorset Conker Gin, Black Ven Rum and Tanqueray - all served with refreshing Fever Tree tonic!

All food at The Tow Bar and restaurant is freshly prepared with locally sourced ingredients and we do aim to cater to a range of appetites and dietary requirements too including Children's options, Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan dishes. All meals on our menu are available for takeaway.

On Sunday you are welcome to join us for a delicious carvery in our restaurant in Charmouth! The carvery is available from 12:00 every Sunday. Our Sunday Roasts can be hugely popular and so to avoid disappointment, bookings are advisable.

Please note that reservations are not necessary for the restaurant - unless you are dining with a large party. For tables of more than ten guests, we would require a pre-order. Please contact us to arrange this.

Lounge & Bar

The air-conditioned lounge and bar are the hub of our holiday park in Charmouth. Our lounge is an inviting and modern space, which is perfect for a quiet afternoon drink, watching a broadcasted sports game, or simply playing a game with friends.

The large dog-friendly conservatory has additional seating, which provides guests with stunning views over the surrounding Dorset countryside. The conservatory has direct access to the large, sunny patio which is the ideal place to enjoy a drink and take in the stunning views.

There is also an area with seats and tables in the front of the reception and shop where you are welcome to sit with your furry friends for a drink or a meal.

Our Tow Bar and Restaurant is now closed until early March 2026.

Facility opening & closing times may change at short notice due to circumstances beyond our control. We may also close the Bar and Restaurant early during very quiet times. Please see Reception for up to date information.
