Special Offers and Events Over the Next Few Weeks

Hi folks, we had a fantastic time last weekend with our first ever beer festival - it was a big success and we'd like to thank everyone who came along for making it such a superb occassion. If you'd like to see our photos from the festival, take a look at our Facebook page.

Now that the beer festival is out of the way, we are looking forward to the rest of a fun-packed summer here at Newlands. Here's what's coming up in the next few weeks at the park.

Wimbledon Specials

It’s tennis time once again, and we’re really excited to see if Andy Murray can finally go the whole way to the final this year, and maybe even win his first ever Wimbledon championship! It’s looking good for him, with some big rivals falling at an early stage of the tournament, so we’ll be on the edge of our seats over the next few weeks waiting to see if this is his year. Come on Andy!

To mark the occasion, we’ve served up some special Wimbledon offers for the tournament period. We’ve got 3-4 night breaks (either Fri-Mon or Mon-Fri) up for grabs for just £145, with the option of staying in either a 2 bedroom poolside apartment or a 4/6 berth Seaton caravan. Call us on 01297 560259 to book.

The Rest of July

July is a fabulous time to visit the park if you want to get all the benefits of the summer weather, but prefer it when things are a little quieter, before the kids break up from school.

There’s plenty of things to do in Dorset this July, including the Lyme Regis Mackerel Festival on the 6th-13th. Obviously Lyme is famous for its seafood, and this festival is a chance to explore local produce, fishing and other fun family-focused seaside things!

If this sounds like it floats your boat, we’re offering you the chance to enjoy a 3-4 night break anytime between the 8th and 18th July for just £155. Once again you have the choice of a fully equipped poolside apartment or Seaton caravan, and can take your break either Friday-Monday or Monday-Friday.

Don’t forget there’s also the (always brilliant) Lyme Regis Lifeboat Week coming up at the end of July, with all its regular much-loved attractions including the Red Bull Wakeboarders, the Red Arrows, and the RAF Falcons parachute display team.

'Excellent site with clean facilities, friendly staff!'

'Friendly staff, the staff in the shop was incredibly welcoming! Loved how we were escorted to our pitch and also offered help with putting the caravan on the pitch. Swimming pool was small but ideal, good sauna! Outdoor pool was lovely also! Facilities were spotless considering we had awful weather they work extremely hard! Very clean site, great value for money!'

"Definitely will be back"

Good location with Charmouth beach and lyme regis near. Nice facilities on site and nice rooms. The tow bar restaurant is a gem with great food. Liked the activities on our stay like bingo. Overall a good stay and would love to come back again.

"Everything we needed"

Very tidy site, well laid out and well equipped. Towbar restaurant offered a good selection of quality food at all meal times, very good value for money and super friendly service. There is a small shop on site for all your essentials with access to another slightly larger shop in the village. Two pools and children’s play areas plus a gaming room were a real bonus. Shower and toilet blocks were cleaned regularly and always kept in good order. Location is fantastic, especially for avid fossil hunters with Charmouth beach around 20 minutes easy walk away through the village.

"What a wonderful place"

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Newlands. We stayed in the studio apartment block down the end (A17). The apartment was incredibly clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a short stay. My twin sons (3.5 years old) had the twin room, mum had the double bed, and I stayed on a blow up mattress that I brought with. We were very comfy.
