Only 15 days to go!

We hope everyone has been enjoying the lovely weather over the last couple of days! It’s giving a real summer feel to Dorset and making us even more excited for the season to begin. We open our doors on Friday 9^th March this season. There is still some availability all over- Caravans, Apartments and Touring Pitches. Search our availability here and join us for the first weekend!

Around the Park everyone is busy continuing work on the improvements we’ve been making over the closed period.

James has been making the most of the sunshine and is paving the outdoor Doggy Dining Area which is outside reception. Once this is completed we will be bringing in tables and chairs and completing the last of the finishing touches with lighting, planters and hedging which will run along the top of the cladding.

Our Spar shop has been refitted with new shelving and chillers... We even have Spar Radio this season so you can dance along while picking up those essentials! Mark has had his first sets of deliveries and is beavering away getting the variety of products we stock into place and on display.

The new Sales Office we mentioned in our ‘A New Year Catch Up’ post is starting to look like a real office, miles away from the chip shop it used to be. You can see this on our Instagram page through the Mobile App, check out our story highlights in the ‘Newlands’ bubble.

Bar Manager Steve and Wendy are back onsite after a lovely Winter break. They have been joined by Zoe this week to start bringing the complex and bar back to its normal appearance and preparing stock orders ready for the season.

We’ve had deliveries! 8 Brand new caravans have been delivered on site, with 1 left to come. These are our 2018 Willerby Rio Gold Caravans which have replaced some of the older units on the lower rows.

During Half Term various members of staff from across the Park took part in a 3 day First Aid For Work Course with Exe Solutions Training. For some of our staff this was the first time they had taken part in First Aid training and for others it was a good experience to top up their knowledge and skills ready for our upcoming season. Everyone enjoyed themselves and have come away with even more confidence for if we are ever faced with an emergency.
