The Jurassic Coaster is perfect for walkers looking to explore the South West Coast Path or other trails. You can hike one way and catch the bus back, allowing for linear walks and more time to enjoy the stunning surroundings.
New Late Night Bus Service
A brand-new evening bus service connecting Lyme Regis, Bridport, and the surrounding villages will officially launch on Friday 1 May 2026.
Designed to give both residents and visitors a safe, convenient, and affordable way to travel, the service will support access to evening events throughout the summer.
The route, known as LB1, will operate every Friday and Saturday night until 26 September. It will provide an important link between the two towns, with stops in Chideock, Morecombelake, and Charmouth along the way.
The first bus will depart from Bridport bus station at 6:15pm, while the final return journey will leave Lyme Regis at 11:30pm. Passengers can also connect with the X53 service from Weymouth for the first two departures from Bridport. In addition, the final LB1 service from Lyme Regis will continue on to Weymouth, offering added flexibility for evening travel.
