Las Vegas Night and Lyme Regis Gig Club Party

The season is nearing an end here at our Lyme Regis campsite, but we’ve still got a couple of big events up our sleeve before we shut up shop for the winter. This week on the blog we’re telling you about two huge parties we’ve got coming up next month which we’re really excited about. Remember, there’s still time to book yourself a late camping holiday in Dorset here at Newlands this year – book via our website or call us on 01297 560259.

Las Vegas Night at Newlands

Dust off your tux, polish your cufflinks and put on your lucky socks – Newlands Holiday Park is going all Las Vegas for this year’s end of season party on November 5th! Expect gaming tables, roulette wheels and lots of prizes as we party our way into the close season.

Entertainment will come courtesy of Neil Diamond tribute Michael Douglas and Ace Disco, and the party will run from 8pm until late.

Lyme Regis Gig Club End of Season

Newlands Holiday Park is a long-time friend of the Lyme Regis Gig Club, and this year we’ll be hosting their end of season party on November 11th-12th.

All gig clubs are welcome at the weekend party, which kicks off on Friday 11th with a race night. There’ll be food, drinks and plenty of opportunity to have a flutter on the horses and see how lucky you can be.

The main party night is on the Saturday, with a hot and cold buffet including beef bourguinon, chicken korma, various salads, potatoes and rice pudding. Live music will be provided by the fabulous Souled Out, and there will be a disco from 8 until late.

Tickets for Saturday are £15, and are available from Newlands. We may be able to offer you specially discounted accommodation for the weekend if you’re attending the party – give us a call and let us know your requirements!

'Excellent site with clean facilities, friendly staff!'

'Friendly staff, the staff in the shop was incredibly welcoming! Loved how we were escorted to our pitch and also offered help with putting the caravan on the pitch. Swimming pool was small but ideal, good sauna! Outdoor pool was lovely also! Facilities were spotless considering we had awful weather they work extremely hard! Very clean site, great value for money!'

'What a Lovely holiday park thoroughly enjoyed its great location. Staff behind the bar were always helpful and talkative. Met a lovely couple working behind the bar I think the gentleman was called Steve they were incredibly funny and recommended local spots to visit for us.'

"Definitely will be back"

Good location with Charmouth beach and lyme regis near. Nice facilities on site and nice rooms. The tow bar restaurant is a gem with great food. Liked the activities on our stay like bingo. Overall a good stay and would love to come back again.

"Everything we needed"

Very tidy site, well laid out and well equipped. Towbar restaurant offered a good selection of quality food at all meal times, very good value for money and super friendly service. There is a small shop on site for all your essentials with access to another slightly larger shop in the village. Two pools and children’s play areas plus a gaming room were a real bonus. Shower and toilet blocks were cleaned regularly and always kept in good order. Location is fantastic, especially for avid fossil hunters with Charmouth beach around 20 minutes easy walk away through the village.

"What a wonderful place"

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Newlands. We stayed in the studio apartment block down the end (A17). The apartment was incredibly clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a short stay. My twin sons (3.5 years old) had the twin room, mum had the double bed, and I stayed on a blow up mattress that I brought with. We were very comfy.
