Vineyard Tours and Wine Tasting

Furleigh Estate offers vineyard and winery tours every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from March to October. These tours provide a fantastic opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the art of winemaking right here on the Jurassic Coast. Furleigh Estate believes that the soil, enriched by the presence of ancient dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures, contributes to the award-winning taste of the wines produced on-site. These tours are hugely popular, and so due to high demand, we highly recommend booking these tours well in advance to secure your spot.

Alternatively, Furleigh Estate also welcomes visitors to drop by their Cellar Door shop for wine-tasting sessions during regular opening hours throughout the week. No reservation is required for these sessions, although there is a £5 fee per person to cover the cost of the exquisite wine samples provided. If you find a wine that tickles your fancy, you can purchase a bottle (or two to enjoy) to enjoy in the comfort of your accommodation when you return to Newlands Holidays.

Wines to Enjoy the Summer Weather

Furleigh Estate produce a wide variety of award-winning wines on the vineyard in Dorset, however, they have handpicked a couple of wines that we believe are perfect for enjoying the sunny weather whilst staying at our holiday park in Charmouth.

Pinot Rosé – Crisp and refreshing, Furleigh Estate’s Pinot Rosé is best enjoyed whilst on a picnic on the Jurassic Coast! We personally recommend pairing this beautiful Dorset Rosé with fresh strawberries and sandwiches!

Bacchus Fumé – Furleigh Estate’s Bacchus Fumé is a deliciously classic dry white wine, which is perfect for celebrating the holidays during a warm summer’s evening at Newlands, or for special occasions such as a loved one’s birthday!
