2) Farmer Palmers

Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park is full to the brim with Easter activities and events this year, with an Easter Eggstravaganze over the Bank Holiday Weekend. From the 30th – 2nd April, the bunnies on the farm will be helping the Easter Bunny hide hundreds of eggs for you to find during your visit! The Easter egg hunt is included in the admission price for the day. These prices are: Adults £9.50, Child 3+ £9.50, Children 2-3 £4.90 and Under 2s Free. 3) Smugglers Easter Egg Hunt

The Charmouth Shark Tooth Gang smugglers have discovered some rare Jurassic Coast Easter eggs in a shipwreck off the shores of Lyme Regis. They have hidden all of the eggs in shops around Lyme Regis town, leaving clues for you to solve to locate them. Once participants have successfully located the 9 missing eggs you will be able to claim a chocolatey reward! Each trail is £3, which can be purchased at Roly’s Fudge shop. The trail will be taking place from the 1st April – 15th and are available to collect from 10:00 – 17:00 daily.
62 Broad Street, Lyme Regis, Dorset DT7 3QF 07896 004278

While you are at Roly’s Fudge Shop you must try the variety of fudge they have to offer! With flavours ranging from classic fudge to Cherry Bakewell and Lemon Meringue, they also have some Easter themed flavours such as Eton Mess and Hot Cross Bun! If you are lucky you may also visit on a day when they have piles of fudge on the front bench being prepared and portioned, the smells are delightful!

Lyme Regis’ car parks can get very busy very quickly during school holidays and on sunny days! If you are planning on heading down to the town during Easter do think ahead for parking. Holmbush Car Park is on of Lyme’s biggest carparks, with parking for £2 all day! There is a pretty steep hill down to the Cobb from this car Park, not as bad if you take the hill down through the town or gardens. There is Monmouth Car Park down near the Cobb and Harbour which will allow you to walk along the seafront to the town, though this car park charges from £1.20 an hour.

4) Roarsome Dino Easter Egg Hunt

Starting on Good Friday through to the 16th April, Wacky Nation have put together a trail of clues to follow around Weymouth. It is your job to find Jurassic Dino Eggs which have been hidden in shop windows throughout the town centre and to discover where the ‘very rare T’-Rex Egg’ has been hidden by Evil mad scientist Dr Destruction! Entrants need to complete and return their trail form by Monday 16th April to be in with a chance of winning a bag full of Easter goodies!
Throughout the holidays there will also be a search for a baby tyrannosaurus Rex! Make sure you become equip with a Dino Quest Passport & Map, visit the challenge points around the town which will be located in your Dino map and collect all 4 Dino stamps for an extra yummy treat! If you have the best detectives in your family and solve the clues in record breaking time there will also be Dino Mask Making, Dino Balloon Modeller & Magician, Dino Mask Parade and a Dino Roar Competition throughout the day to keep you occupied!
Weymouth, Dorset DT4 8PF

End the day with a trip the arcade and mini fair ground at the end of the seafront (towards the Jurassic skyline) one of the best arcades around here I think! Jam packed with a variety of arcade games to keep all the family happy. Followed by that seaside classic fish & chips on the beach- perfect!

5) Egg-citing Easter Dinosaur Egg Hunt
From the 1st April – 16th you can take part in the Seaton Jurassic's Dinosaur Easter Egg Hunt which will lead you on a journey through the Jurassic Coast’s history. Starting in the 19th century you will be egg hunting alongside local fossil hunters, geologists and evolutionary-thinkers! You will then be taken back 200 million years, taking the controls of a time-ship, searching through the prehistoric creatures for more clues. Once you have followed all of the clues to complete the trail you will be able to collect your prize. The prices are: Adult £9, Child £5.40, Under 3 Free, Family(2A+2C) 19.80 plus £1 per clue sheet. Once you have claimed your prize there is no need to leave in a hurry, Seaton Jurassic has plenty to see and do, rain or shine. Play beneath the waves of the infinity pod and hunt for fossils in the sand pit or just relax in the beautiful wildlife garden.
The Underfleet, Seaton EX12 2WD 01297 300390

Most places in Seaton are no more than a stone’s throw away from the seafront. Seaton has a level promenade, great for kids to ride their bikes, scooters, even rollerblading. It also makes for an easy walk with a pushchair. You can walk from one end right to the other of the beach, a lovely little walk in the afternoon sun.

If you are already staying in Dorset over Easter, or are thinking about it I cannot recommend entering the Jurassic Coast Guide competition they are currently running! It's free to enter, all you need to do is follow their account and retweet this tweet on Twitter and your in!
