Camping Pods have caught on like wildfire in recent years, appealing to families and couples who love the sense of freedom and getting up close with nature that camping offers, but who also want a few extra creature comforts as well.
Well now we’ve brought the glamping revolution to Dorset here at Newlands with
our brand new camping pods. These wooden beauties come with electricity, beds, and their own picnic bench and BBQ space!

We’ve had loads of interest and excitement about our little pods – they look great and have been an instant hit with both Newlands regulars and people who’ve never stayed with us before. Feedback from everyone who has stayed in them so far has also been brilliant, and we’re hoping for lots more happy pod guests over the summer.
So what’s it like being in a pod? Well it’s much like a regular camping experience, and you bring all your camping gear with you except your tent. They have a double and two single beds, so you can expect a comfier night’s kip than you get in a tent. Also there are the obvious benefits of extra warmth (as well as being fully insulated, each pod comes with a mini heater), meaning you can enjoy a pod holiday at any time of year without having to worry about the cold.
Our pods can accommodate a maximum of 4 people - perfect for a family with 2 kids, and you get the convenience of your own parking space. Luxury camping perfection.
