Why not blow away the cobwebs and take in the stunning views at The National Trust Golden Cap Estate. Or perhaps The Undercliff Nature Reserve which stretches from Lyme Regis to Axmouth.

Prime location for fossil hunting

Our holiday park is situated a short 15 minute walk from Charmouth beach. Fossil hunting locations in Dorset don't come much better than this and nearby Lyme Regis. The latter was famously used as the location for the 2020 Ammonite film starring Kate Winslet. The movie is the subject of the extraordinary life of Mary Anning, who lived in Lyme Regis and one of the most famous fossil hunter of all time. Searching for fossils in autumn might just brings its rewards, especially if the beaches are windswept after a storm.
