River Cottage day courses and evening events run throughout the year. Including Grab and Cook for Children. Also see Events at the Store and Canteen which was featured in the chicken out programme with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and filmed in nearby Axminster.

The 20th Lyme Regis Jazz Festival
The three day Jazz extravaganza takes place on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th July. Tickets can be purchased from the 1st March and are available from the Lyme Regis Tourist Information Centre. The Friday kicks off the event with the Woodroffe School Jazzband and followed by acts such as The Lousiana Joymakers. On the Saturday you will be able to enjoy acts such as Gerry Brown and the Mission Hall Band and the Salisbury Big Band. The event will finish off on the Sunday with the likes of Tiger Tim's Hot Four and Excelsior Vintage Jazzband.
Individual day tickets or a 3 day ticket are available.

Newlands Spooktacular Halloween Week
October 25th - 29th 2010
Come to Newlands and experience our exciting fun packed Halloween. Activities will include a visit to the haunted alley (if you dare), Pumpkin skittles, mummy mania, the wicked witch hunt and many more ghouly goings on. Don't forget your family fancy dress and a pumpkin for the lantern competition. Booking on arrival maybe advisable for some activities.
