Charmouth Challenge on Saturday 1st July

The Charmouth Challenge is an 8-mile fell run through some of the finest coastal scenery in the South West on Dorset’s beautiful Jurassic Coast, overlooking Charmouth’s famous fossil hunting beaches with views to historic Lyme Regis. Charmouth Challenge includes an ascent of Golden Cap which is the highest point on the South Coast of England at 191 metres. Charmouth Challenge takes place on Saturday 1st July at 14:30. This year a new event of an 8-mile walk has been introduced starting at Charmouth Primary School and following a route up to Golden Cap.

Shortly after will be the Charmouth Challenge Fun Run is an opportunity for anyone who wants a fun challenge over a shorter distance of 2 miles along the stunning coast it is for anyone over the age of 8 or anyone younger that will need to take part with an adult.
